As an arms length agency funded by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, the Ontario Problem Gambling Research Centre's mission is to "enhance understanding of problem gambling, and strengthen treatment and prevention practice through research". Beyond this, the Centre has a mandate to develop, accumulate, organize and disseminate research through a variety of methods and strategies.
